Professors Walmsley and White were in Brussels for a conference on “Recognition of Professional Qualifications and the portability of skills, what role for Higher Education Institutions?“. This was organised by the Association of Dental Education in Europe and the main speaker of the day was Andras Zsigmoid from the European commission-DG Growth. The conference outline is below (featuring one of Prof Walmsley’s pictures). This meeting was in the beautiful offices of CabinetDN adjacent to the European Parliament. The objective of the meeting was to maintain ADEE’s high profile in Brussels and put over the view of dental education to the commission.
