Successful Endodontics :)

Birmingham undergraduate and postgraduate success with the British Endodontic Society

Dr Tomson writes, “It has been a great year for past and present students of Birmingham School of Dentistry winning prizes with the BES which was celebrated at the recent annual BES meeting in Southampton. Following the success of Rajvansh Juneja  (graduate 2015) who won the BES elective prize which was presented in London earlier this year, there were further successes for 4th year BDS student Sonia Soopen, Rajdeep Koner (graduate 2014) and Satnam Virdi (graduate 2014). Rajdeep won the prize for foundation dentists last year (2014) with his portfolio of work carried out during his DF 1 year in GDP which was presented at this meeting.  Satnam won prize for foundation dentists (2015) with his portfolio of work carried out during his DF 1 and DF 2 years and Sonia was runner-up for the Harty Prize with an excellent essay on the failure of root canal treatment. This is a great achievement for our students / graduates and an excellent springboard for their future careers.”

The Pictures show Sonia, Raj and Satnam receiving their certificates from Professor Francesco Mannocci who is the current President of the British Endodontic Society.  Raj Jeneja received his prize at the earlier function.
