*Stop Press – The total for the bake sale was £376.67. School office crocodile dentist raised £12.07 and the dress down day raised £27.82. The syndicate for Jessie J hairstyle raised 60 pounds. Grand Total is £476.56 – what a great result and well done to everyone for a great cause.*
Both students and staff took part in Comic Relief and various activities happened around the building. The leader of the student activities was Sharonjeet Uppal (4th year dental student) who organized a cake sale and bake off. There were lots of notices around the building prior to the event so everyone was ready for the big day.
The School office also got into the fun of it with Anna Parker getting non clinical staff to take part in a sponsored dress down day. It must be pointed out this was only for the non-clinical staff as the clinical staff were working in the clinics! Lynne Reynolds organized the Jessie J “guess the hair-do” game which was won by Phil Tomson. Phil is the sort of guy who obviously knows how to choose a hair style! Just so you know the winning style was the Red Pompadour. Finally there was much amusement along the School Office corridor where Lynda Malthouse and Jill Boylan ran the ‘Crocodile Dentist’ game.
