The Eco Smilers are on the 7th Floor and they are Going Green.  They won a Bronze award for their recycling work and here is the team receiving their award from Professor John Heath, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Estates & Infrastructure), University of Birmingham and Jen Strong, Sustainability Project Officer, National Union of Students. The three in the middle are Michelle Holder, Gay Smith and Susan Finney from the 7th Floor Research Laboratory

Here is an explanation of what it means ub 3 sentences
“Green Impact is an environmental accreditation and awards scheme that brings staff and students together to enable and showcase positive changes in environmental practice.  The scheme provides a framework to channel general enthusiasm for sustainability into concrete and measurable action.
By implementing simple, tangible, positive steps that can make a real difference, the programme allows staff and students to have a genuine impact on the environmentally-friendly practice and sustainable behaviour of their university as a whole.”
That’s 3 sentences, hope that’s not too much!
