The British Society of Periodontology Autumn Conference is in Birmingham under the Presidency of Professor Iain Chapple. The title of the conference is “Perio, Perio Wherefore Art Thou Perio?”. It appears that many people did find the conference and a packed Town Hall was treated to a glittering array of international speakers covering subjects from “Live Well or Die Young” to “As Old as Your Cytokines”. On Monday evening the delegates were treated to a performance by Playbox theatre’s new show Wonderia at the Bramall Theatre, University of Birmingham
Following this everyone move onto the Great Hall for dinner where there was some operatic entertainment during the meal and dancing to Jazz Soul Patrol. The band was led by Professor Sloan (formerly Birmingham now at Cardiff).
