The findings of the Child Dental Health Survey (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) were presented at a symposium in London on Friday, 5th June at the Hallam Conference Centre. Speakers from the consortium presented various aspects of the survey to an audience of around 200 people. This represented the culmination of three year’s work since the 2013 Survey was commissioned by the NHS Information Centre. The Birmingham Dental Public Health team, led by Professor White, were responsible for examiner recruitment and management as well as contributing to all other aspects of the survey. Dr Kirsty Hill gave a presentation on ‘Attitudes, Behaviours and Anxiety in Children’s Dental Health’ and Prof Deborah White presented ‘Good Oral Health in children in 2013’.The full reports from the survey can be accessed on: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/childrens-dental-health-survey-2013
