Dr. David Attrill acted as quiz master for the annual BUDSS Cheese and Wine Quiz. This was the first time the event had been held at the new dental hospital and school and was a great success. Thanks to the sponsors Dental Defence Union and Medical Sickness Society. Monies were raised to support St. Mary’s Hospice and Dentaid charities.
The 4th year team were clear winners on the night and congratulations to them (although we won’t print their team name).
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night (at least to the team themselves) were “Phil’s Fallen Angels” – a team made up of academic staff from School office who came a fantastic second. Frances Deen was delighted, as she said her team usually comes last. Well done all of the outgoing BUDSS committee and Chair Steph Agar for great organisation, and well done “Phil’s Fallen Angels”. A really great evening was had by all.
