Many congratulations to Julie Potter (5th BDS) on receiving the inaugural Association of British Academic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABAOMS) Dental Undergraduate Prize for The University of Birmingham. The title of the essay was “Is coronectomy safe surgery or defensive practice? Discuss”.
This year, The University of Birmingham Oral Surgery department are hosting ABAOMS annual conference in Berlin next month www.abaoms.org.uk The German connection is with Professor Thomas Dietrich and we look forward to hearing about the conference in due course.
