The BUDSS Committee held a charity bake sale in the Learning Hub in aid of RISE ABOVE FOUNDATION CEBU. This brilliant charity work as volunteers in Cebu City, Philippines. Their aim is to improve the quality of life for the poor and underprivileged by providing educational opportunities, livelihood training and health and hygiene programs.
The cakes included flapjacks, victoria sponge, rocky road, butterfly cakes, brownies and more!
Additional money was raised by selling cups which would allow the buyer to get a free hot drink worth £3 in a popular café.
The bake sale was a great success and raised over £100!
As a result the committee are considering doing it again in the near future.
