Dr Rui Albuquerque in Oral Medicine hosted European visitors to Birmingham as part of an Erasmus+ project on smoking cessation. The full title of the project is Smoking Cessation advice : Healthcare professional Training.
The aim of the research is to provide a pioneering EU smoking cessation e-learning tool. The team aim to increase the possibility of a reduction in smoking within the EU population and consequently with an economic and healthcare impact.
