The Performing Arts Society gave us the Great Dental Bake Off 2017 and this was an unknown quantity as it was the first concert to be performed in the new dental school at Pebble Bill. The event was a resounding success with so many highlights. The pictures tell the story and there will be more to come from the official photographer in due course. The first year dental students attempting to mix alginate was hilarious but the night’s highlight was the Paul “Bollywood” Dance featuring Kaushik Paul, Nikita Patel and Praveen Sharma who were the eventual winners. There was popcorn and Krispy Kreme doughnuts at the Interval that were well received by the audience. The proceeds of the evening went to St Mary’s Hospice and the stage is set for the next performance. Well done to the PAS team for all the organisation, Prof Chapple for compering the show and Dr Patel who put in a great deal of work behind the scenes. Enjoy the first sample of Photographs.
