Professor Trevor Burke enthusiastically leads the Masters in Advanced General Dental Practice team where 30 dentists from around the world descend onto Birmingham. This was the residential week component of the distance learning course and this year the group included those dentists enrolled on the new Restorative Dentistry Masters degree. Both courses are distance learning but include the intense residential weeks at Birmingham. The students are fortunate not only to receive guidance from a star studded group of lecturers but they are able to take advantage of the facilities offered by the first Dental School and Hospital built in the UK for 40 years. This combination provides a great setting for the course and our student feedback is very positive. The pictures show Trevor in the clinic and also focuses on one of the hands on components of the week where local practitioner Dr Neil Wilson is demonstrating occlusion with the participants.
