Mehmuna Ayub and Mahisa Arain (5th BDS) write
The 9 th All Together Better Health conference was held in Auckland, New Zealand, attracting guests from around the world. The conference aimed to promote interprofessional education (IPE) for faculty members and students. Two of our very own 5 th year BDS students, Mahisa Arain and Mehmuna Ayub, who are on the committee for KASE (Knowledge And Skills Exchange), the UoB IPE society, attended this conference. Along with their colleagues, they hosted a workshop and gave an oral presentation, highlighting the importance of student-lead IPE and their experiences with Healthcare Team Challenges. Mehmuna also took part in the international Healthcare Team Challenge, representing the dental profession in an MDT setting. They were joined by our faculty member Kirsty Hill. Well done ladies!
