PERCAT Winner

PERCAT stands for Postdoctoral / Early Researcher Career Development And Training (PERCAT) and there was a strong turnout at the PERCAT Research Gala held in conjunction with the Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and  Technology,  Wuhan, China. The presentations were of a high standard reflecting the cutting edge scientific research in the MDS College.

It was particularly pleasing to see Nina Vyas being awarded the MDS PERCAT excellence in public engagement award and also the Best oral presentation prize at the PERCAT Research Gala

Prof Roy Bicknell said that Nina had been the first researcher to win two prizes at a PERCAT research gala. Many congratulations to Nina who is a post doctoral researcher funded by the EPSRC and working on the grant “Maximising Cavitation to clean Dental Implants”
