This year marked the 133th Dental Ball, and what a ball it was! 300 staff, students and sponsors headed over to Edgbaston Cricket Ground in their suits and gowns to enjoy a night of dancing, food and entertainment.
The theme was Arabian Nights, and had been kept a secret until the big reveal on the night. The tables were named after Arabic cities, and the event was decorated with palm trees, lanterns, drapes, sofas and more, taking the guests on a journey to these wonderful places.
Belly dancers greeted the guests and gave two performances. There was also an ice sculpture of a camel which the guests could use as a vodka luge should they like.
A delicious three-course dinner was provided as well as a photo booth, professional photography, chocolate fountain and sweets. There were also speeches and a charity raffle, raising money for the Refugee Crisis Foundation.
People danced in to the night and had a brilliant time – certainly a night to remember!
