Elective Day 2019

The Elective Presentation day was held today when our top Elective students had the opportunity to present their Elective project. This year we had another great morning. Many thanks to Rachael Deen for all her help to organise such a successful presentation morning.

We had a brilliant panel of judges who evaluated the presentations for consideration of one of the several prize awards available: Dr Wendy Leadbeater, Dr Rachel Sammons, Dr John Morris, Mr Sherif Mohammed.

The standard of presentations was very high. The students made it extremely hard for the judges to make a decision. However after careful consideration the judges have awarded the prizes as follows:

· The Sands Cox Society John Rippin Memorial Prize for the Best Elective to Amy Hewitt

· The Dental Student Society Prize for the Best Overall Elective Presentation to Saim Haider and certificate of merit to Jeevan Dosanjh and Milan Krstic

· The Sir Arthur Thomson Trust prize to Jessica Baxter-Brown and Mohamed Garrib

· The Onnelly Trust Elective prize to Saim Haider

· The Gabrielle Stanley Prize for Paediatric Dentistry Elective to Mey Khulusi and certificate of merit for Anam Chaudhry

· The Professor Anderson Elective Funding prize to Jessica Callow

The following students will receive a letter of recommendation (certificate of merit): Jeevan Dosanjh, Milan Krstic and Anam Chaudhry

Congratulations to all the students and well done.
