The new British Dental Students’ Association (BDSA) President for 2020/21 will be our very own Neha Mehta (BDS3). Joining Neha on the Executive Committee as the BDSA Communications Officer will be Richa Tore (BDS4). Both students have represented The University of Birmingham for the last two years and are excited to start their new roles on the committee.
The BDSA is an organisation that connects all dental schools in the UK; expressing the concerns and issues that a lot of dental students face. It campaigns for change and ensures that the voices of dental students are not ignored. They also organise two of the biggest events of the dental student calendar – Sports Day and Conference.
