Brumdentist handover

Dear All

The time has come to hand over the reins of Brumdentists.  As you will have noticed, I have not kept the Blog up to date since the summer and much has happened to the School of Dentistry over 2020.  To be honest, I have been preoccupied with other matters such as family, work and my photography.  The year has passed so quickly and at the end of 2020, I retire from clinical dentistry and teaching.  I will be staying in touch for a couple of years with my research but it will only be a day a week at most.  Therefore I wondered who would be interested in taking over the Brumdentists Blog.

Enter Alice Parr.

Alice qualified from Birmingham in 2015 and has a successful background in general dental practice.  She gained her Masters in Restorative Dentistry in 2019 and is now a full-time clinical lecturer at UoB.  I am pleased Alice has taken over as she has the enthusiasm and contacts to take BrumDentists to the next level.  I will look forward to learning about what is happening in Birmingham in future years.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the site over the years and wishing the School of Dentistry every success for the future.

Editor of the Blog 2006 to 2020
