PhD student Hannah Gleneadie under the supervision of Dr Gosia Wiench, Dr Ben Scheven and Prof Paul Cooper and in collaboration with the ICS and the College have had the following paper accepted in Cancer Letters
(now available online: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S030438352030700X).
The paper has also been awarded the ICS Paper of the Month award.
The anti-tumour activity of DNA methylation inhibitor 5-aza-2′-deoxycytidine is enhanced by the common analgesic paracetamol through induction of oxidative stress.
