Josette Camilleri and Alice Parr had the pleasure of welcoming Paul Keeley and Wayne John from GC Europe to the dental school. They brought with them the Aadva 100 IOS P portable intraoral scanner for a hands on demo with the final year students.
Staff were also invited for a drop in session in the afternoon and use the scanner, it was noted to be a simple set up and easy to use – GC market it as a great educational tool. Dr Hill our HOS and Prof Lumley, the Deputy Head of College, came down to see the students in action.
Alice will be carrying out some work using the scanner and would be happy to show the scanner anyone that missed out.
